Two miles south of Antietam National Battlefield, views of Elk Ridge, Antietam Creek and the Potomac River, on the spacious fire pit patio. Enjoy walks, sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing among native plants, trees, birds and butterflies. One-half mile to the C and O trail, two miles to Antietam Battlefield and Antietam Creek Winery, 12 miles to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Five miles to Shepherdstown WV, 48 miles to Gettysburg National Park. The space Fully furnished, insulated, climate controlled metal Quonset Dome with covered porch and open patio with fire pit. Views of Elk Ridge, Antietam Creek and the Potomac River Valley. Local and other art photography, a full length mirror, full kitchen, queen beds, sofa recliner, TV, washer, dryer, pantry. Guest access You will have the whole house and the space around it. A native plant garden surrounds the patio, and we have planted over 250 native trees and shrubs on the property. Other things to note The Dome is a scant 10 minute walk from the Chesapeake and Ohio National Historical Park. Other local parks include the original Washington Monument, Reno Monument, Greenbriar and numerous state and local parks.
