Extra Beds: We can set up the single cot, queen air mattress or toddler bed for you. $20 per bed (If you got the toddler bed & single cot, it would be $40 for both, or $20 for one). If you set them up yourself, please fold them up & put them back in the closet, linens in the hamper in the pantry. Trail Pickup and Dropoff: We can pick you up at Weverton, Gathland, on the Maryland side of Harper’s Ferry near the bridge (use the pullout slightly North) that pickup also works for Maryland Heights. The Antietam Campground is just down the hill from us, if you have bikes, or the weather is bad, we can come and get you. $25 one way (pickup or dropoff) $45 2-way (pickup & dropoff) 8am to 6pm ONLY, subject to availability. Bikes: We have three adult bikes, two mountain bikes and one general purpose bike. They all have racks, bells and flags. We do not have helmets (yet). Rental is $20 per each, per day. If you are staying longer, 3 days max charge. Bikes are ONLY for the canal path, and roads to and from it. Do NOT ride on Canal Road, or Harpers Ferry road, neither is safe for cyclists, sadly. Please don’t make us come pick up the pieces. Float Tubes: We have new single and double float tubes for Antietam floats. $15 single, $20 double. Per tube, per day. 3 day max, for longer stays. Firewood: If you want extra firewood, $25. Subject to availability. If we can’t provide it, we’ll point you towards some. Produce: Our fruit trees and gardens sometimes make more than we can use! For an assortment of berries, fruit (tomatoes, peppers, raspberries, melons), vegetables (fennel, leeks, carrots, beets), and herbs, inquire, and we’ll let you know what is available, and deliver it to the rental for you. Treats: Need more S’mores? S’mores kits (4 graham crackers, two big marshmallows, and 2 Hershey bars) $10 for 2 kits. Tours: Emily offers bird and nature tours, per availability. She had been a naturalist and bird lover all her life, and knows quite a bit about the history and ecology of the land, and creatures of the area. $125 for up to 4 people. Mobility Class: Emily teaches Fascial Fitness classes, she is a Fascial Fitness instructor for over 10 years. Learn how to be kinder to your body, and solve simple problems with foam rollers, simple tools and multiplanar mobility. Mats and rollers provided, we’ll use the great room in the rental. $125 for up to 4 people. Bodywork: Emily is a structural integrator (Rolfer®) for nearly 20 years. With osteopathic manual training, and decades of experience with military, martial artists, and regular folks, her expertise has helped many people keep doing what they love.
